St. Anselm : Examinations & Promotions
- The Academic session of the school will be from April to March.
- The medium of instruction will be English.
- Two mid terms & term exams will be conducted during the academic year.
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the entire years performance which shall cover unit tests, terminal tests, class works, attendance, assignments , conduct and discipline.
- Report cards indicating the progress of the students will be presented to the parents/Guardians in the school itself.
- Only those students who have paid the school fees for the academic year and have obtained 85%attendance shall be eligible to appear in the final examination.
- Students absent from examination or unit tests in any case will be processed on the basis of their performance in the class as well as other tests or examinations conducted during the academic year.
- No Rexam will be conducted if a student is absent from any of the examinations.
- In case of illness a medical certificate must be produced.
- Absent from any paper involves loss of marks in those subjects and such absentees will be excluded from reckoning in order of merit or rank at the class level.
- The answer sheet of the final examination will not be rechecked or shown to the student’s parents or tutors.
- Any use of unfair means receiving or giving assistance in any form during a Test or an Examination will be a punishable offence.
- The Principal is the final Judge of a student’s promotion for next class.
