Discipline is the most important aspect in achieving anything in life. Hence all the students of St.Anselm are expected to conduct themselves in a dignified manner at all times and in all places. The wholehearted co-operation of the parents and guardians is expected  in the formation of the character of the children. As the child progresses from the lower to the upper classes , increasing opportunities will be given to shift from conforming to externally imposed order to self imposed discipline.

     The school insists on punctuality , regular attendance, personal cleanliness , general grooming  and fidelity to study and work assignments , absence from the school without sufficient serious reasons is strongly discouraged.

    Code of Conduct

1.       Students should reach the school at least 10 minutes before the morning assembly begins.

2.       Every students should bring the school diary daily to school.

3.       Personal cleanliness and hygiene is expected from all the students. The students should come to school in proper school uniform prescribed by the school   according to the season .

4.       Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without the explicit permission of the Principal.

5.       Students are not allowed to bring mobile/cell phones, cameras or any other electric gadgets or toys to school.  Once confiscated  they will not be returned.

6.       The students will not spoil,  scratch or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belong to others. Any damage even done by accident  should be reported at once to the concerned authority. Any damage done to the school propery will be fined.

7.       Students should see that they do not litter  pieces of paper , toffee wrappers etc in the school premises.  All kinds of waste materials should be deposited in the dustbins.

8.       Bring books and copies according to the timetable. All books and copies should be neatly covered and labeled. Students are not allowed to use old books  and copies which are already used by other students.

9.       Students who missed the the classes due to any reason make sure to complete the works as soon as possible.

10.   No books other than text books and library books will be brought to school.

11.   All the students are expected to participate in all the curricular and co curricular activities in the school.

12.   The students are not allowed to bring any valuable  like expensive watches, or jewellery to school. The school is not responsible for the goods or money lost.

13.   The school reserves to itself the right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose parents or guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority or willful damage to property is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.

14.   A student who uses unfair means or receives or gives assistance in any form during tests   /exams will be given zero in the subject. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal.

15.   Except in case of unforeseen illness, no leave should be taken without prior sanction from the school authorities.

16.   Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than seven consecutive days render the students liable to have her /his name struck off the rolls. Re admission if needed will be granted on payment of admission fee.

17.   A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor certificate permitting him/ her to rejoin class.

18.   All Students are expected to attend class on the last day before the school is closed for any vacation and on the Reopening day after the vacation.

19.   Visitors are not permitted to meet students during class hours.

20.   The students upto class 5 are allowed to wear color dress on their birthday.They may share a packet of sweets with their classmates and teachers.

21.   Students are not allowed to take leave during class hours, for emergency reasons the student may be allowed to go home with parents only.

School Transport

1.       The school does not provide conveyance to the students.

2.       Parents are expected to make their own private transport facility for sending their wards to school.

3.       The students who come by two wheelers without learning license and helmets are not allowed to park their vehicles in the school campus.
